CHRISTMAS comes to Haslemere on Sunday when more than 200 festive stalls will pack the High Street and West Street, with the action overflowing into The Georgian Hotel and Haslemere Museum.

The popular Christmas Market returns to the town centre in style with a fun fair and a live nativity also on offer from 10am to 4pm, on December 3.

Junior visitors are invited to meet Santa in the museum between 11am and 3pm and a free Hoppa service will operate to the centre of town from Lion Green, St Christopher’s Green and Haslemere Station.

This weekend also sees Christmas fairs get under way in Grayswood and Grayshott. The All Saints Church Grayswood event is in the village hall on Saturday, December 2, from 11am to 1.30pm.

Also, on Saturday, the Macmillan Christmas Fair in Grayshott Village Hall (10am-3.30pm), features the Macmillan Christmas tree decoration challenge with prizes for the top three entries.
