CORE Sports football team based at Weydon School in Farnham are off to Holland today (Friday) to play what is the biggest game of their lives so far.

Selected Under 10 and Under 11 players have been chosen to represent Core Sports to go abroad and play Feyenoord FC, the “best” Dutch academy for the last five years according to Chris Scudder, head of academy and recruitment at Core Sports Coaching.

He said: “This is a very rare opportunity for a group of boys that are not signed at a professional club, so we are looking for them to make the most of it and get the most out of the experience. This is fantastic for them.”
