To PROMOTE national Time to Talk Day, and encourage conversation about mental health, Radian Group held an open event at Café 1759 in Bordon.
The event was held last Thursday in partnership with local support services and businesses including Justbe NLP, Deadwater Valley Trust and Runnyhoneys.
There were a series of inter-active events on the day, including a walk and talk through Bordon Inclosure and a community pledge board.
Olivia Carr?, community development officer, said: “It was great to see so many people chatting and at least nine different groups and agencies available to advise and offer information about their services, which aim to improve wellbeing. The intriguing ‘I’m All Ears’ caravan was a lovely feature too!”
Café 1759 hosted the event and sold cupcakes to raise money for Havant and East Hants Mind.
Methodist Homes (MHA) and Artscape also provided art and crafts activities, making friendship bracelets and cards.
