PUPILS at St Nicholas’ School in Church Crookham have raised £455 for the charity Jeans for Genes.
Pupils and staff joined thousands of adults and children across the UK paying £1 to wear their jeans to work or school.
School assemblies were held and video clips shown, explaining the work of the charity.
In its 22 years of existence, Jeans for Genes has raised millions of pounds to fund ground-breaking medical research and family support services for children diagnosed with genetic conditions, such as haemophilia, muscular dystrophy and cystic fibrosis.
