WITLEY Gardening Association mounted a “really impressive” autumn show at the village hall last month.

The winners were:–

Jill Long, who took home the Farnham Cup for Gardener of the Year and the RHS Banksian Medal;

Valerie Herring who claimed the Grindling Cup for the highest points in the vegetable section

Trevor Sears won both the Hugh Chandler Cup and the Moss Silver Rake for the best exhibit of fruit and vegetables

Margaret Ashwell collected the Miss Farnham Cup for Cook of the Year

Izzy Wheeler was Young Gardener of the Year
