JOB seekers are being warmly invited to come along to Sandy Hill Job Club, which will re-open from Monday, January 25, from 10am until 12pm every Monday.

The club, which meets at The Bungalow at Sandy Hill, Farnham, provides a friendly and informal place to meet and a range of services to help people back into work.

These include free internet use, up-to-date details of jobs, plus advice and guidance on job hunting, job applications, improving CVs, letter writing, planning for interviews and interview practice.

The deputy leader of Waverley Borough Council, Julia Potts, said: “Looking for work can be very tough. It’s almost a job in itself with new skills and techniques to learn to be invited to interviews and come out on top. Job clubs like this one run by Waverley at Sandy Hill help by providing the right kind of support, encouragement and training needed.”
