VOLUNTEERS with an hour once a fortnight to spare to help an older person feel less lonely, can sign up to The Befriending Network at a drop-in session with tea and cake in Chiddingfold next weekend..

The information session in St Mary’s Church Room on Saturday, March 19, (2-4pm), will be combined with the village’s first Hearing Aid Clinic, a Guildford Diocese initiative led by a trained hearing champion and delivered in partnership with the hospital audiology department.
