NOW that Liphook's infant and junior schools are managed under one federation, the two parent teacher associations have doubled their efforts to raise funds for improved facilties
And the combined efforts of Liphook Infant School Friends Association and Friends of Liphook Junior School has resulted in a new astro turf surface for all pupils to enjoy being laid.
The artificial grass was put down before the Easter holidays and children who return next week will have even more opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine as spring turns to summer.
The juniors' parent teacher association also funded a tyre park which has already proved popular with the children as can be seen from the picture above.
The Federation organised a 'Ground Force' weekend during which sandpits were built in the school grounds, with paths and murals created to symbolically join the two schools together outdoors.
