A man convicted of the double murder of two women just over the Farnham/Aldershot border in 1982 has had his conviction quashed by a court of appeal after serving 17 years in prison.

Peter Fell (40) was jailed for life in 1984 for killing housewives Ann Lee (44) and Margaret Johnson (66) on the Hungry Hill army training ground just off the A325.
