THE SECRET Gardens of Farnham Competition held their two judging days on July 7 and 14 respectively, and the viewing was on the two days following.

Category winners were:

Best courtyard: 1 Gail Whattingham; 2 Margaret Greene; 3 C J Wickins.

The front and small garden: 1 Mr and Mrs P N Ellis; 2 Mr and Mrs J Gilbert; 3 Mr and Mrs G Hess.

School garden: 1 Badshot Lea Village Infants School; 2 Bourne School; 3 Rowledge Primary School (Gardening Club).

Hanging basket: 1 The Jolly Farmer, Runfold; 2 Gail Whattingham; 3 The Elm Tree.

Large Garden: 1 Mrs Hemsley; 2 Mr R Burn; 3 Mr and Mrs Wheatley.

Public House: 1 The Hop Blossom; 2 The Cherry Tree; 3 The Jolly Farmer Runfold.

Shop Front: 1 Masterpiece Lighting; 2 The Frame Centre; 3 Imperial Cancer Research.

Margaret Munday, chairman and her committee, would like to thank and congratulate all the participants, and thanks also to all those in the town helping to keep Farnham an attractive place in which to live, work and shop.
