A SERIAL fundraiser has collected another bunch of notes after opening the gates of her Liss garden to the public.
Judy Medhurst has raised £270 for the British Red Cross after holding an open gardens event at her Greenfields home.
The well-wisher has raised tens of thousands of pounds for the charity over the years.
The event raised more than last year even though visitor numbers were down because of the scorching temperatures.
But there was plenty of scope to cool off with refreshments being provided throughout the afternoon by the grateful owner.
She said: "We raised £270, which is a magnificent considering how hot the weather was.
"I was also grateful for my helpers and the friend who loaned me their gazebo because it meant people could sit in the shade!"
The garden looked as fabulous as ever and featured a blooming wonderful mixture of old favourites and more unusual varieties.
