CHILDREN and staff at Anstey Junior School marked the culmination of their ‘Totally Urban’ topic by dressing up as famous Americans for the day.

They came as characters such as astronaut Neil Armstrong and US?President Donald Trump to enjoy an all-day American extravaganza.

During the morning, the children played softball and created American sub sandwiches, while the afternoon’s entertainment was the blockbuster film Megamind.

Greg Lott, year six teacher at the Anstey Road school, said: “The day, which was enjoyed by all, was a fitting finale to the spring term.”
