HAVING announced their retirement from fundraising for its local Macmillan Service last year, the Haslemere fundraising group could not resist “just one more”.

The team  held a coffee morning with stalls, cakes and a raffle at Haslemere Methodist Church, raising a healthy £877 for Midhurst Palliative Care, the charity that now funds the Midhurst Macmillan Service. This formidable group of volunteers, led by Malcolm Harris, has been fundraising for Midhurst Macmillan for many years and have contributed enormously to the sustainability of the Midhurst Macmillan Service.

Pat Passingham, who has been selling goods for Midhurst Macmillan for more than 20 years with her partner Jim, said: “Thanks to the support of Midhurst Macmillan I got three more years, and I will do all I can for them while I can.”
