A LICENSING application to sell fast food from a kebab van in West Street has been met with fierce opposition by local residents and business owners.

The application for street trading consent, which will go before Waverley Borough Council's Licensing and Regulatory Committee on Monday, has been labelled "totally inappropriate" and "unnecessary" by those opposing it.
