KELLY’S Storage Charity Events are organising another fundraising event on Sunday, October 16, at Loseley Park in Guildford.
Kelly’s pay for the entire event so every penny raised will go to benefit local charity, Challengers, which provides play and leisure opportunities for disabled children and young people.
The Kelly’s Cross Country Challenge includes a half marathon, 10-kilometre and five-kilometre runs and walks, as well as a very special children’s event with a three-kilometre and 1.5-kilometre challenge for the very young.
The event starts and finishes in front of historic Loseley House set in stunning grounds with striking scenery on all routes.
There will be free parking, chip timing, free photos, prizes for the winners and medals for all.
Moira Martin, director of Kelly’s Storage Charity Events, said: “We hope that runners and walkers alike will choose this event over other similar ones when they see that 100 per cent of the money raised truly does go to charity, and not to covering our costs,
“We aim to make our events offer the best possible customer experience to the entrants and at the same time raise as much as possible for incredible charities in our community.”
Besides the runs and walks there is plenty to see and do at HQ, including face painting, a bouncy castle a playground for the kids, plus free sports massage for runners provided by local personal training club, Charlotte Ord Academy.
Everyone will also enjoy ethically sourced quality tea and coffee, homemade food from Robyn’s Nest and cupcakes made by Challengers supporter, Sarah Benton.
