A LISS family are heartbroken this week after their pet dog died following a brutal attack by another dog, just minutes after it ran into a recreation ground used by children.

Local police beat officer for Liss, Pc Brad Woollerson, appealed for any information to help find the animal, described as very sturdy and the size of a Labrador, with a distinctive short, reddish-coloured coat.
