A ROBBER escaped with more than £1,000 after threatening a Farnham games shop worker with a knife at around 5.15pm on Tuesday. The Games Pod in Downing Street was targeted by a man who waited until other customers left the store before demanding that cash be handed over.  The store worker handed over the till and the robber stole £1,130 before making his getaway on foot. The thief is described as white, 5ft 11ins tall, aged between 25 and 30 and of medium build. He was clean shaven, had very red eyes and was wearing blue faded jeans and a white tight-rimmed sun hat. Dc Matt Evans, investigating, said: "This was a brazen robbery carried out in broad daylight in a busy street and I would appeal to anyone who may have seen a man matching this description or anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time to contact officers as soon as possible.'
