AN armed robber made off with a quantity of cash in a knifepoint robbery at Passfield Post Office on Wednesday.
Postmistress and postmaster Jane and Alan Guard were unhurt, say police.
Police were called at 12-25 but the man had escaped in a blue car which had been parked outside the shop.
Acting Inspector Glynis Shaw said CID and forensic scene-of crime officers had been called to the post office. Violence and threats of violence were used during the robbery, said police.
Police say the robber is a white man in his early 20s and was wearing a blue boiler suit.
