THERE is rising concern among residents across Liphook and Bramshott about the lack of a Neighbourhood Plan following the requirement of a minimum of 175 homes to be built in the parish to meet the district council's Joint Core Strategy housing target.

Both planning authorities – East Hampshire District Council and the South Downs National Park Authority – have pointed out the benefits of such a plan, which relates to the use and development of land and associated social, economic and environmental issues, including housing and transport.
