HAMPSHIRE County Council’s landscape designers have put their significant experience designing school grounds into a handy new book for schools.

A Fresh Approach to School Landscapes features a foreword by David Attenborough and is available, priced £6.99, from the county council’s online shop.

The book is aimed at school governors and teachers, and provides a guide to making the most of school grounds, as well as tips on how to set about planning new landscape features to maximise any site’s potential for outdoor learning.
