THERE is still time to put forward an entry for the 2008 Haslemere Business Awards, organised by Haslemere and District Chamber of Trade and Commerce. The nomination deadline for the awards is on Monday. Nominations have been received in each of the six categories of: Best New Business, sponsored by Grayshott Pottery; Customer Service, sponsored by Haslemere Travel; Greenest Haslemere Company, sponsored by The Car Network; Most Innovative Marketing Campaign, sponsored by The Marketing Forge; Business Personality of the Year, sponsored by Grayswood Computer Services; and Most Proactive Business in the Community, sponsored by The Sports Locker. Haslemere Chamber of Trade president, Simon Labrow, said: "Our inaugural Chamber Business Awards in 2007 were successful beyond all expectations. "Haslemere business has so much to offer its customers and the community. This annual event brings this to the public's attention. "I encourage every Haslemere Chamber of Trade member to enter at least one category. If you are not a member now is the time to join." The 2008 Business Awards will be presented at the president's annual dinner dance at the Georgian House Hotel, on Friday, April 25.
