ONE of the last remaining small pieces of valuable freehold land in the centre of Petersfield is expected to be sold for housing.
Believed to be worth about a quarter of a million pounds, the site, less than a quarter of an acre at the rear of Lyndum House in the High Street, could provide much-needed social housing in the town.
The full story can be found in The Petersfield Herald of 3 December, 1999.
