TRADERS on an "unloved" Petersfield street have been told that new trees and traffic management could solve their woes.

Lavant Street is a cluttered mess of spaces, bollards and materials, according to landscape architect David Price.

But it could become a "proper entrance" to the town centre with some careful planting and greenery.

Mr Price presented his ideas on improving the town's streetscape to the Petersfield Society.
