A TILFORD home for adults with learning difficulties has been warned that it must improve services or face legal action.

Melbreck, a home on Tilford Road run by Solar Care Ltd, failed to meet nine essential standards when inspectors from the Care Quality Commission visited in September, acting on "concerning information".

By law, providers of care services must ensure that they are meeting all essential standards. The unannounced visit followed previous failures at a routine inspection last December and a follow-up visit in May.
