AN item presented to councillors in an executive meeting earlier this month revealed that visitor numbers are down at Farnham Leisure Centre for quarter two of the fiscal year.

With a target of 140,000 to reach Farnham Leisure Centre has fallen below target at 134,553, nearly 1,000 less then last year at 143,236.

This could be due to students leaving town for the summer, which sometimes impacts performance levels, and furthermore, a new 24/7 gym has opened in Farnham which may impact on usage.
