PUDSEY Bear is coming to Haslemere Hall for a 12-hour charity concert in aid of BBC Children in Need.

The free event – Brassbandathon – features 12 hours of live music at Haslemere Hall and runs from 9.30am to 9.30pm on Sunday, November 3.

Worthing Silver Band presents Brassbandathon 2019, a celebration of all styles of brass music, with a huge selection ranging from traditional brass, a collaboration with a heavy metal band and everything in between.

There will also be arts and crafts stalls, children’s entertainment, food vendors, drinks and a grand raffle.

Haslemere Town Band joins Liss Band and Horsham Borough Band as the new entries for this year’s event and they join five other bands.

This is the eighth Brassbandathon, which has raised more than £20,000 for Children in Need to date.

Haslemere resident Laura King (pictured) who co-organises the event with Claire Scholes, said: “We are looking forward to having the event in Haslemere this year.

“We are thrilled to already have so much local support and we are excited to put on a great day for everyone.”
