CHILDREN at Hale Primary School got into the festive spirit as they put on a show to remember in front of packed out audiences.
Out of the Ark’s, ‘Lights, Camel, Action! It’s Strictly The Nativity’, was this year’s chosen Christmas nativity written by Antony Copus.
The Christmas tale, which was performed by reception pupils right through to year two pupils, was based on a Bethlehem broadcasting company, which takes audience members on a dazzling journey celebrating the birth of Jesus, through the medium of dance.
Assistant headteacher Margaret Molloy said: “It was absolutely amazing. The parents absolutely loved it and so did we, the staff really enjoyed it.
“There was funky camels, disco dancers, line-dancing town’s people, innkeepers doing the tango, angel ballet dancers, morris dancing wise men, jiving dancers, celebrities and of course the typical nativity characters including Mary and Joseph.
“They all came out to ‘Strictly’ music, very entertaining.”
