MILLAND village hall is launching its own cinema screenings, with films showing on the last Thursday of each month until March next year.

Shoplifter banned from wearing wigs after series of thefts across East HampshireDr John Tough, who launched and ran the Millennium Centre Cinema, Liphook, is helping Ted Wright, manager of Milland Store, to set up the Milland Cinema.
The first film booked for tonight is Our Kind of Traitor, starring Ewan McGregor, Naomie Harris and Stellan Skarsgard, starting at 7.30pm with a short introduction film and the main movie running from 8pm.
During the interval organisers will be offering a hot bowl of supper for £5 per person. Tickets cost £6.50 each and can be bought in advance at the Community Shop or on the door, while tickets for all seven films can be bought at a special price of £40 per person.
Forthcoming attractions are Race on October 27, Golden Years on November 24 and Jungle Book on December 22, with more films to follow in the new year.
