HEAD for Lion Green for the hugely popular Haslemere Classic Car Show on Sunday, May 27, from midday onwards.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the must-see event, which now has a waiting list for places and is an annual fixture on the classic car calendar.

More than 200 pre-1978 cars will be on display, from noon until 5pm on Sunday.

And the show attracts entries ranging from exotic sports cars and elegant pre-war tourers, to everyday family classics, Americana and hot-rods.

To add to the fun, there is a ‘Best Dressed Car and Crew’ award – plus the action-packed delights of a traditional vintage style fete with a jazz band, children’s activities, food, cream teas and a bar.
