On a beautifully-sunny morning, 20 Liphook u3a members had a splendid walk at Frensham where we toiled across the common until we came to Great Pond and the beach where we enjoyed a few minutes’ respite and watched the children playing in the sand and paddling.

We were sorely tempted, but managed to restrain ourselves to admiring the scene before continuing our walk.

The reward was a good lunch at the Frensham Pond Hotel before we made our weary way home.
