A WELL-known young Liss footballer was killed when he was hit by a car on the A.3 in the early hours of last Sunday.
Simon "Gilby" Gilbertson who would have celebrated his 21st birthday in just three weeks time died after being struck by a car at Steep Marsh as he walked home from a nightclub in Petersfield.
