THIS year’s annual Headley Fun Run marked the 30th anniversary of the popular event.

Organised by the Headley Sports Association, the run took place on Bank Holiday Monday.

The five-mile, multi-terrain route took runners around lanes and tracks.

This year organisers were celebrating the run’s 30th anniversary, with participants raising money for Sport in the Village and other nominated local charities.

Children under 14 ran a shorter two-mile course.

After the event, organisers said:“We would like to thank all the marshals; the helpers; the registration, results and road-closure teams, the course markers and our last runner. Without your help, this event could not take place.”

The organisers also thanked the local Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and their leaders for their help.
