CHILDREN from Little Badgers Pre-school in Headley showed their competitive streaks when they took to the race course for sports day.

The event had been previously postponed due to rain, so staff and children were especially pleased to see a bit of sunshine.

The pre-school, which has a “good” Ofsted rating, takes place at the Headley Sports Pavilion, in Mill Lane. The fees are £4.50 per hour, and the 15 hours per week funding for three to four year olds is accepted.

Its opening hours are Mondays to Fridays from 8.30am to: 1pm on Mondays, 2.30pm on Tuesdays, 1pm Wednesdays, 2.30pm Thursdays and 1pm Fridays.
