HASLEMERE'S newest, and one of the largest shops in the High Street, gets Champagne treatment when it officially opens tomorrow (Saturday)
After more than a year of negotiations, and almost six years as an empty shop, the long-running saga of the former Lo-Cost building in Haslemere High Street comes to an end when furniture retailer Collingwood and Batchellor finally opens its doors.
The grand opening by mayor Michael Barnes marks the store's expansion across the county border.
The family-owned business has branches in Horley, Horsham and Haywards Heath.
