FOR the third year running, Specsavers in Alton was a collection point for Eagle Radio’s Annual Easter Egg Appeal.

As expected, customers were very generous with their donations and the store has thanked the community for their support.

Specsavers store director Lateef Iqbal said: “Our customers and colleagues really get behind us with community projects like the Easter Egg Appeal, and the Christmas Toy Appeal that Eagle Radio also runs.

“Many of us as parents want to extend some goodwill during these key family occasions in our annual calendar and help children facing very challenging times.

“It’s a simple but important gesture and it’s an honour to be involved.”
