A DRIVER has had a lucky escape after crashing into a tree.

Firefighters from Hartley Wintney as well as Yateley crews were called to the scene on Blackbushe Road in Fleet at around 4.30am last Sunday after the crash which left the car with a huge dent in the roof.

The driver escaped virtually unscathed.

As can be seen from the picture, it was a miraculous escape, after it appears that the car flipped onto its side before hitting the tree as it was driven along the country road.

Firefighters said it was “incredible” the motorist only had minor injuries.
