LURGASHALL’s annual fete kicks off on Saturday, June 4, with an action-packed programme of events.

The Vic Cracknell band, dog races, and Katie and Davids’ Silly Sausage children’s show are among the star attractions, when the fun gets under way from 2pm.

There will also be bouncy castles, fairground-style rides, children’s races, stalls, a silent auction, bottle tombola and champagne auction.

Refreshments include a barbecue, teas, a Pimms tent and beer tent. All proceeds go to Lurgashall village societies and good causes, including the village hall, church, cricket club and horticultural society. More information at www.lurgashall.org.
