Mail slammed over delivery failure

THE Royal Mail has been slammed for failing to deliver to rural villages.

Irate people in West Meon, west of Petersfield, were left in the lurch as postal deliveries failed to arrive last Saturday – because of apparent "staff shortages" at the mail handler's Petersfield depot, off The Square.
