DOWNTON Abbey is coming to Liphook’s Millennium Centre to raise funds for East Hampshire-baesd TLC charity next month.
‘An Evening with Team Downton on Saturday, March 12, will see Chris Croucher, the Liphook-raised producer of the blockbuster ITV series, and his locations manager Mark ‘Sparky’ Ellis, who will give an insight into the making of the smash series, which came to an end at Christmas.
They will reveal the blood, sweat and tears shed in order to provide TV viewers’ Sunday night’s favourite drama for the last six years.
They will discuss some of its ups and downs with stories and show clips from filming the series. It is also hoped a member of the Downton Abbey cast will be able to make an appearance on the night.
The audience will be able to ask questions about the making of the award-winning drama watched by millions across the world.
