THIS Saturday and Sunday (March 25 and 26) Squire’s Garden Centre in Badshot Lea is running a ‘Create & Grow’ Mother’s Day planting weekend.

Children will be given a rustic daisy bucket, which they will fill with compost, then put three colourful plants in it to give to mum as a special gift.

The activity costs £6, plus Squire’s will donate 20 per cent of the price to the charity Greenfingers, which creates magical gardens for children’s hospices.

There will also be a free flower maze activity sheet for children. When they complete the maze they will receive a sticker and have the chance to win a prize.

Simply drop into Squire’s anytime from 9.30am to 3.30pm this weekend, there’s no need to book.
