GET ready for this year’s Wrecclesham Village Fete which promises to bring the community the best entertainment around.

The fete will begin at 2pm on Sunday, June 25, on the recreational ground. The day’s events will include a dog show (sponsored by In the dog house), stalls, games, displays and attractions for all the family.

The village playing field will play host to a programme of events, such as children’s races and entertainment, music from the Farnham Brass Band, Morris men, donkey rides sponsored by Farnham Stoves, Abbotts vintage cars, a model railway exhibition and a silent auction.

St John ambulance will also be in attendance kindly sponsored by Kumon Farnham study centre.

Visitors can have a go at cardio tennis which will take place throughout the day at the tennis club. Alongside this there will be an array of tempting stalls, including the now famous Wrecclesham Ladies Group’s teas and cakes, and Dylan’s ice creams and drinks will be for sale in the pavilion.

Parents can keep the children entertained on the bouncy slide, swinging chairs and rides, and in the game area which will have a coconut shy, beat the goalie, plate smashing and splat the rat.

There are still stalls available, and those interested should contact Gail Whattingham on 07702503383 or at [email protected].
