CAMELSDALE Primary School teamed up with Henry Adams estate agents for a bookmark competition as part of the school’s Book Week activities.
The children enjoyed designing bookmarks which were then judged by staff from the estate agents. Winners received a selection of books from the sponsors.
Branch manager James Grillo said: “The creativity and ingenuity of the designs submitted by the children at Camelsdale School for the Henry Adams bookmark competition was fantastic. To help celebrate Book Week, we felt getting the children to design and create their own bookmarks would be great fun, we just weren’t ready for the quality and the number of entries – the children really surpassed themselves and choosing who to award the books we donated as prizes to was incredibly hard – the competition was stiff.
“We are now displaying the winning entries in the window of our Haslemere High Street office and would like to extend our thanks to all the children who entered the competition.”
