DETECTIVES investigating a robbery in Whitehill last week have arrested a man in connection with the attack.

The robbery occurred between 2.50pm and 3pm on September 5 in a wooded area at the back of Champney Close.

The victim, a 54-year-old man, was threatened with a knife by a group of four suspects who stole cash, a bank card, a lottery ticket, and a mobile phone.

Police carried out searches at addresses in the area the next day.

A 22-year-old man from Whitehill was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery.
