AN Alton man has been charged with attempted murder and assault with intent to resist arrest, after a stabbing incident in the town centre which left a 17-year-old seriously injured with stab wounds.

Jason Paul Goodall, (19), of Chauntsingers Road allegedly assaulted the teenager at around 7 pm on Saturday close to Threshers off licence in the High Street.
