POLICE are appealing for information after a rare vintage Lambretta scooter was stolen from a garage in Bordon.

Between Monday, October 25, and Friday, Oct-ober 30, Police say the collectable vehicle was taken from a garage in Woodside Close between Monday, October 25, and Friday, October 30.

Richard Bicknell, from In the Blood Scooter Club, which hosts events at the Bordon Officers Sports Club (Bordon and Oakhanger Sports Club) said the victim, Ron Neal, was “heartbroken” to discover his “beloved” prize-winning Lambretta TV 200 (GT) had been stolen.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said a burglar, or burglars, forced entry into the locked garage, where other items were left, implying that the vehicle was targeted specifically.

The scooter’s registration number is JBP 94C.
