A BORDON man is among 10 people charged in the second week of Operation Dragonfly - Surrey and Sussex police’s crackdown on drink and drug-driving throughout the summer months.
The campaign sees officers out on patrol looking for driving offences and behaviour behind the wheel that may be due to the driver’s consumption of intoxicating substances.
Christopher Ogenfeyini, 26, of Nightingale Road, Bordon, was stopped in Normandy, Surrey.
He was charged with drink driving and other motoring offences, including driving without insurance and driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
He is on bail and is due to appear at Guildford Magistrates Court today.
Surrey Police is proactively releasing the names of those who have been charged across the county as in last year’s initiative.
Officers will also be tweeting about people who have been stopped on suspicion of drink or drug-driving offences, giving brief details of an incident.
Alongside the 10 people charged, a further eight have been arrested for drink or drug driving-related offences - five are on bail pending further enquiries and three have been released without charge.
