AN evil monster with a history of child sex abuse has been jailed for nine years after admitting raping a five-year-old girl he was looking after.

Andrew Jackson, 49, from Wrecclesham, forced the young child to perform a sex act on him - leaving her terrified and feeling sick, a crown court heard.

The judge passing sentence told the defendant, a gardener: "This was a disgraceful and disgusting attack on a five-year-old girl in your care."

But there was an even more horrific revelation.

The court was told that when Jackson, of Cobbetts Way, was 18 he had been convicted of carrying out sex attacks on other children even younger than his latest victim - including an act of gross indecency with an 18-month-old baby.
