A PHARMACIST from Farnham arrested on suspicion of murdering his father in August has been re-bailed until Tuesday, January 26, while a police investigation continues.

Bipin Desai was arrested on August 29 at his home in Dockenfield - two days after police discovered the body of 85-year-old Dhirajlal Desai, believed to be his father, at the same address.

He was released on bail and has since been re-bailed twice while Surrey Police detectives continue “a number of enquiries” into the circumstances surrounding the death.

A post-mortem on Mr D Desai’s body was carried out in August but failed to determine a cause of death. Mr B Desai has not been charged.
