A MAN has been remanded in custody by Aldershot Magistrates, charged with burglary and causing grievous bodily harm to a police officer in Petersfield.

Colin Ellinor (37) of no fixed address, was alleged to have stolen jewellery from an address in Rushes Road, and assaulting Pc Mick Devaney.
