A MAN in his 30s was left with a broken nose after he was set upon by a gang of teens in Farnham Park.

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following the attack, which is reported to have taken place between 10pm and 10.30pm on September 3.

The victim was walking through Farnham Park near the children’s play area that joins with the St James Avenue entrance.

He was approached by a number of young men who initially made some remarks toward him and then assaulted him.

The victim, a man in his 30s from Farnham, was taken to Frimley Park Hospital where he was found to have suffered a fractured nose and bruising around his face.

PC Mike Patey said: "This was an unprovoked attack which has left the victim feeling very emotionally distressed and physically bruised.

"We are currently continuing to undertake house-to-house enquiries, but we are urging anyone that may have been in the park at a similar time to get in contact immediately so we can bring those responsible to justice.”
